I am a Licensed Psychologist and a certified Health Services Provider-Psychologist. I provide individual psychotherapy, psychological evaluations, couples counseling, and family therapy, for children, adolescents, teens, and adults presenting with a variety of concerns including adjustment, anxiety, behavioral, developmental, emotional, grief, mood disorders, personality disorders, relationship problems, self-development, substance use, trauma, and vocational issues.

I hold a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri. This program is accredited by American Psychological Association (APA). I completed  predoctoral internship at University of Florida Counseling Center. 

 

I see therapy as an important process that helps people understand themselves and make life better and more meaningful. I therefore start the process by helping the person clarify the goals of therapy and then work towards overcoming the problem. I incorporate approaches that pay respect to humanistic needs, cognitive awareness, and behavioral changes, all in the context of multicultural awareness and understanding.
